After three long years of development, we are very proud to present the UR-CC1, code name « King Cobra ».

As you will notice at first glance, this timepiece is quite different from URWERK's two « classic » collections, the 103 and 202, in that it displays the time by means of linear indications.

The UR-CC1 renders homage to the genius and the audacity of Geneva-based watchmaker, Mr. Louis Cottier (1894-1966). His creation, the « Cobra », which exists only as a single prototype in a museum, served as the muse for URWERK two creators, artist/designer Martin Frei and master watchmaker Felix Baumgartner.

5o years after Mr. Cottier filed his patent, we are pleased to present the UR-CC1. Our aim was to endow this timepiece with the strong and provocative character of its forbearer . . . it's for you to decide if we succeeded.

The UR-CC1 is limited to just 50 pieces. The enormous demands required to realize each timepiece, coupled with the modest resources of URWERK's ateliers, severely limit the UR-CC1's production.
